I purchased this for my significant other's 2G iPod Nano, and it didn't fit at all. Well, I recant that statement, it fit, but the fit was awful.
The metal looks cheap, the felt/velvet inside looked cheap, the holes were cut (size and placement, could not access some buttons), the hole for the display was askew, so you could see some of the chassis of the iPod, yet not part of the display. The hold switch was inaccessible and the "latch" closure was impossible to open.
We returned it, and they were gracious about returning it, but I do not recommend it. Splurge and buy a Griffin, which is cut and made with quality.

I like the case simply because it protects the IPOD. It is convenient instrument which still allows for navigation of the IPOD.
